The Foam Sheet Crusher (also called Foam Shredding Machine) is a recycling equipment designed for crushing EPE, XPE, PE, and EVA foam waste — including edge trim, defective products, and post-consumer foam — into reusable particles. The crushed material can be re-pelletized for reuse in foam production, achieving a waste recycling rate of up to 95%. The machine features heavy-duty rotary blades and adjustable output particle size.
Regarding the head waste generated during the production process of the EPE foam sheet extrusion machine. Especially the waste without butane gas extruded from the newly started EPE foam sheet machine. When directly put into the granulator, due to the lack of foaming, the waste is relatively hard and easily choked on the granulator. Therefore, it is necessary to use a crusher to crush the waste from the machine head before granulating

A: The machine processes EPE, XPE, IXPE, PE, EVA, and other soft foam materials in sheet, block, or scrap form. It is not suitable for hard plastics, rubber, or metal materials.
Q: How is the output particle size controlled?
A: By changing the screen mesh size, output particles can be adjusted from 5mm to 50mm. Smaller particles are suitable for direct re-pelletizing; larger flakes can be used for filler material.
Q: What is the recycling economics?
A: Crushed foam can be re-pelletized and blended with virgin material at 10–30% ratio in EPE foam production, reducing raw material costs significantly. A typical EPE foam factory generates 5–10% edge trim waste, which can be 100% recycled through this machine.
